Born and raised in the Pacific Northwest, I have had a love for drawing since I was a child. I took my first art class while studying at the University of Puget Sound in Tacoma, Washington, and pulled my first print in 1999. After college, I went in other directions, teaching English in Japan, learning about sustainable agriculture, and bouncing around from farms, farmers markets, teaching gardening to children, and landscaping. Eight years after pulling the first print, I decided to embrace print arts once again. After residing in Seattle for eight years, I took a year hiatus to see the world, and currently am living in Oaxaca, Mexico.
